Ranchero

The Ford Ranchero (1957–1979) was the original American 'utility coupe' — a passenger-car-based pickup that predated the Chevrolet El Camino by two years. Major eras: the 1957–1959 full-size Rancheros, 1960–1965 Falcon-based Rancheros, 1966–1967 Fairlane-based cars, 1968–1971 Torino-based cars, and 1972–1979 LTD II–based cars. The 1969–1971 Ranchero GT is the muscle-era highlight.
