The Chrysler 300 has appeared in two major eras: the legendary 'letter cars' (300, 300B through 300L) of 1955–1965 — Hemi- and wedge-powered grand tourers that defined American performance luxury — and the non-letter 300 of 1962–1971, a regular production trim. The letter-series 300s, particularly the 300C and 300F with dual-quad and cross-ram setups, are major collector targets.
